So your new Owners are the same as the old owners except they hate each others guts!! :). How did it all come down to these 2 clowns owing the L.A. Dodgers? What is next? Is a King Solomon out there in L.A. to divide the Dodgers?

I miss the O'Malley's. These two pathetic clowns from Boston never understood the Dodger culture or the SoCal dynamics that make this franchise the gold mine that it has always been. All they saw was the gold.

They used the Dodgers as collateral to borrow hundreds of millions of dollars, which they spent on themselves; buying SEVEN mansions from Beverly Hills to Malibu; along with the usual bimbos, boy-toys and fast cars. They raised ticket/parking prices through the roof, as they borrowed against both the team and the property of Dodger Stadium itself. They reduced player salaries and neglected what had been the greatest minor league system of all-time until it became a shell of its former self. They purposely drafted young players who wouldn't sign and put bids in on free agents who didn't want to play for them to make it look like they were trying; but it was all a sham. Even Joe Torre knew it and that's why he quit.

We are a looted franchise here, with no farm system, no payroll, and no future. There are some local billionaires who want to buy the Dodgers, but the McCourts don't want to sell until they've wrung the last nickle out of the team and what's left of it's reputation. Our only hope now is that the judge will order them to sell the team and split the money, but that may take years...
