    I'm 66 miles from the city center of Galveston island. I'm sure I'll get high winds and lots of rain, subdivison street flooding likely but unlikely to be flooded homes in my subdivision.

    Make sure you have enough necessary supplies. You'll need at least 2 cases of beer and half a dozen bags and chips to survive this disaster. Most importantly, I hope your power and cable TV stays on.
