That report places a lot blame on Brady, he should be suspended for the 2015 season!

Gee, I don't know who benefits most from a ball easier to grip?

How many times have you seen in a baseball game where an ump puts a new baseball in play and the pitcher doesn't like the feel? For the average person, there would be probably no difference but for a professional, who make his living throwing the ball, feel is very important. Turning to football, I'd never buy that Brady didn't know that the balls had been altered.

    :p

I heard some idiot on the radio today who was comparing Brady to everybody from Shoeless Joe Jackson to Lee Harvey Oswald. He said that he would never be in the Hall of Fame just like the steroid cheaters in baseball. He further claimed that no one who was ever suspended for any amount of time should be in the HOF...

Exqueeze me, but I seem to remember a couple of guys named Paul Hornung and Alex Karras who were suspended for years. Karras is in the College HOF and Hornung is in every HOF...

I've spent a lot of time visiting Cooperstown and the baseball HOF and researching its members.

There are more than a couple of very sketchy characters enshrined there. I think the late Sparky Anderson summed it up best when he said " if I want to honor saints I'll go to church ".

Brady suspended for the first 4 games. I think that the reason he is getting tagged so hard is that the league didn't like the way he refused to completely cooperate. The Deflatriots, now a second time offender got slapped for 1 million plus loss of next year's no. 1 pick and a 4th rounder in 2017.

This article describes how the Boston media is reacting. Even Joel's Providence Journal has jumped off the bandwagon.

    http://www.indystar.com/story/sport...-wells-report-reaction-boston-media/27168753/

    Here are a few excerpts:

    Boston Globe Writer Dan Shaughnessy:
    Boston Globe Writer Ben Volin:
    Providence Journal writer Jim Donaldson:
Full Disclosure: While Deflatriot fans in the midst of their denial are directing their ire toward Indianapolis, no Colts fan with a brain believes the deflated balls had anything to do with the crushing defeat of the Colts. The Patriots were far superior to the Colts and didn't need to use deflated balls to win the game convincingly. That's not the issue at all. I also would add that I believe the Deflatriots deserve the championship based on how they played throughout the season and in the Super Bowl. Again, that's not the issue here.

Why is football the only game where you get to use your own ball other than Golf?

Could you imagine baseball where each team brought it's own ball?

    Time for some changes.

    1) everybody plays with the same ball, and the refs bring the balls with them.

    2) Standard inflation no range of inflation, again could you imagine baseball being able to fiddle a little with the ball?

    3) Standardize the guages that the refs use, make them be checked for accuracy by the league.

It's like when Belichek used lip readers with binoculars against the Jets a few years ago. These are the acts of a desperate organization or a bunch of high school sophomores and New England is neither of those.

They are being punished for their arrogance.

I see that Harry Reid is trying to drag the Redskins name controversy into Deflategate. What a loser.
