Same game AJ but I am open to suggestions from the Skybox group wrt to player exclusions ( i.e. Woods, Mickleson, etc. )....point assessment for missing the cut...etc.

Otherwise we go with what we did in the Masters.

    You're on....either way! :D

Did I mention I was playing "Tiger Woods Golf 2008" ? I still lost by three strokes.

I'm in. I think Tiger and Phil are the only ones you leave out. I don't think either of them have a snowballs chance in Hell of winning it but everybody would pick them.

BTW before I make my picks I need to know if Sean O'Hair has a new guy on the bag! :)

OK....Terry says only leave out Tiger and Phil ....you guys think that will create enough of a diverse competition?

No fun if everyone has the same players so let's agree if those are the only two excluded.

Everyone OK with the plus 2 each round on those that miss the cut?

No. I don't think we leave anybody out. Phil has been wishy washy this year, Tiger's concentration level is on the baby monitor, O'Hair obviously has a new caddie because he won, and we haven't heard from Gipper yet.

Here's what I say. Go with YOUR 5 guys. Were not all going to pick the same 5 guys, and a good chance at least 2 of us are going to suffer a missed cut. Anybody that loses guys to the cut, gets to replace them with the bottom guys that did make the cut.

i.e., Doc loses 2 guys to the cut and I lose 3. I get the bottom 3 guys for the weekend to replace the 3 missed cuts. This would include any guys tied at say +4. Doc, since he only lost 2 guys, gets the next 2 guys up from the last score I used. If there's a 3rd that loses say only 1 guy in this scenario, since they had the best overall picks of the 3 that missed cuts, would get the next lowest score.

There's 2 games that come outa this, (1) Lowest overall score for 5 guys that make the cut, (2) Most money earned by your 5 guys.

I'm in. It's too bad that none of the fantasy sites are set up for individual tournaments rather than seasonal play.

Sounds good AJ but what if there are three of us who all have one player miss the cut? What is the tiebreaker or do we all get the last player to make the cut?

George I played there once years ago and shot 95.

Broke a hundred at least but the highlight of the day was on the pictured hole #17 where I hit a wedge in to about 11 feet behind the hole and just a foot or so from the back drop off.

Barely missed the bird and I was happy with par on that beast.

I've played the duplicate of #17 at Tour 18 Houston. I did hit the green, but I was a long way from the pin and 3 putted. :(

Doc, rules have changed, you might want to rethink your picks. You can put ANYBODY in the field in your picks.

Using your 3-way tie scenario for missed cuts (providing it works out that way) we go to the score cards.

i.e., you, me, doc all have 1 missed cut. If they're all different players, then we see who did better on the back 9 for score, front 9 if needed, and if we're still tied, we go to the handicap holes to decide a winner. If out of the 3, 2 people have the same guy that missed the cut, then they both go to a playoff with the 1 person. If the 2 that have the same player wins the cardoff, they both get the same golfer with the next lowest score, or if theyre are several others in the field tied at that score, then our guys (Skybox) have the option of pickin' a different one as long as the score is the same.

    Confused yet?

It's way easier than I probably explained it. I'll do the scoring this week and you'll see how it all pans out. Cool?
