South Florida Bulls that is, beats Auburn in overtime 26-23. All I can say is WOW. Now there will be two Florida teams ranked this week.
I did Tom, thanks. Unreal, we got home just in time to see S. Florida miss the easy field goal that would have put them ahead in regulation, then blow the timeout. When Auburn went ahead 23-20 I figured S. Florida was history. They are an up and coming program.
Easily the 2nd best team in Florida. Poor Kicker. He stunk it up. The Big East will come down to RU or USF, with maybe Cincy in there. UL & WVU are overated and one dimensional. The above 3 have balance and can play D.
That's an interesting analysis of the Big East AJ. I have to admit though that I'm pretty impressed so far with West Virginia. Seems that the Big East came out a stronger conference after the three teams left for the ACC.
In a word, No! USF has been been making steady progress as far as the quality of their football team. At one time Central Florida was the best of the rest in Florida but South Florida has easily moved by them and are on the verge of being pretty good on an annual basis.
USF <r>was the best team on the field last night. If not for that kicker, this wouldn't have been close. <br/> <br/> <br/> Expect a rough presser for Tommy T<br/> <br/> <IMG src="http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x207/bowconnor/tuberville3nh3ba.jpg"><s></e></IMG></r>
LOL, this morning, the Gator Coutry guys on the new "Gator Country Radio" program - AM 900 and 1230 in Ocala & Gainesville - were "recruiting" a kicker for the USF program.
