For the most part, big companies seem to have lost touch with their customer base. It is so refreshing when you find evidence to the contrary.

I have 5 pair of Motorola MR350 radios that we use with car club rallies and for communications between drivers at the drag strip. Cindy lost the battery door off of one of the radios. I have been searching Amazon and Ebay for months without any luck.

I decided today to call Motorola to see if they would sell this door. I asked them to sell me a door and they absolutely refused. The lady said that they would send me one free of charge. When I tried to pay for the shipping (least I could do), the lady refused. She took my name and address and thanked me for being a Motorola customer.

Motorola does not have much competition in the personal radio market. They don't have to treat people this well to maintain market share. I tip my hat to Motorola.
