Ramsey Suspect Nabbed at Bangkok Home Thursday August 17, 2006 3:31 AM By SUTIN WANNABOVORN Associated Press Writer BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - The suspect in the death of JonBenet Ramsey denied any connection to her murder when he was arrested at his downtown Bangkok apartment Wednesday, police said. Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul said Thursday that John Mark Karr was regarded as an ``undesirable person'' because he was accused of committing a crime in the United States and thus his visa has been revoked. U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the 42-year-old American was being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges. But Suwat, who heads the country's immigration police, said he was unaware of any criminal charges facing the suspect in Thailand. ``When we informed him that he has been accused of committing a crime at home he denied all accusations,'' said another senior police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to speak with reporters. Suwat said Thai police investigated the Karr - who has been in Thailand four times over the past two years - and made the arrest at the request of U.S. counterparts. Suwat said he was being held pending the arrival of American officials, who were expected to escort Karr back to the United States in the next few days.
I've never understood why this girl got the pub she has? Had she not been white and from a rich family, you would've never heard of her. Paint her black and name her Takisha and she's a non-event. Funny society we live in.
So, if this was swept under the rug and the killer never found, would that have been unjust? Would it have happened that way because the parents were suspects and they got away with it because they are white and rich? TB, be thankful that this scumbag will finally pay for the murder of a child. …not a white child. …not a black child. …just a child that did not deserve to die. Why does it always have to have a racial twist?
Frankly it's starting to look to me like this guy is lying. His ex-wife says he wasn't in Colorado, he was in Alabama with her.
re: This guy was lying It now appears that the Thai police were lying. They've recanted several things about this case that they told to the media... re: The wife This guy had two "wives." One of them was 12 years old and the other one was 16. The ex-wife who claims that he was in Alabama was the older one... There's a lot of Lee Harvey Oswald in this guy. He loves to see himself on TV and he's proud of what he's done. I have no idea where this story will end up, but this clown obviously has dedicated his life to molesting little girls. Whatever happens to him won't be justice enough...
Thai police backtrack from their original statements... http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060818/D8JIULR00.html
I think this guy is a complete whack job and would have also confessed to killing the Lindbergh baby if doing so would mean more publicity. He certainly got the red-carpet treatment on his flight home. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060820/D8JK983G0.html Reading a story like the one below, especially how this freak was pampered on his return flight home, makes me conclude that this country is irreparably dysfunctional and makes me ponder immigrating to some country way north of the Arctic Circle in the hope that living in a frozen climate would make encounters with mankind very infrequent. Hopefully, Inuit territory can get satellite TV signals for college football ...
