I was rooting for the Bears because of the Gators playing for them. However I am also glad for Manning and Dungy who have always been class acts in my mind. Nice job guys.
Ditto but, as a longtime (since 1976) Buc fan I was especially happy to see Tony Dungy win the title. He's one of the "good guys" and glad he can be called a Super Bowl Champ headcoach.
The Pats were a much more formidable foe than the Bears turned out to be. Still, it is this win that will silence the group thinking ESPN clones that a great player needs a championship to solidify his credentials.
I know this isn't politically correct, but if I hadn't been told Tony Dungy was a black man I'm not sure I'd think he was black. I wonder if he has a white mom/dad/grandparent.
One... <t>Great thing about the game being over is the hack medias obsession with telling us about the two coaches being minorties in this game. If you want to see a good spin on this subject read Paul Finebaum's latest take on it which has some great points.</t>
