If you haven't looked at the current conference standings, you are in for an earth-shattering sight... I'm sure it won't end up this way, but with the exception of the SEC West, I doubt anyone saw the current state of affairs in their tea leaves! Scott, the SEC East has three teams with only one loss, S. Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee. I can't claim we are second to S. Carolina as long as teams have less losses than us. Right now I see SEC East between S. Carolina and Tennessee. If Tennessee loses another game and the Gators win out we would still win the SEC East. But right now it's Tennessee and S. Carolina. But in answer to your premise, it is a strange season and I sure didn't expect to see a lot of what we are seeing. But as Bobda said when Michigan lost to Appy State, that's College football and the reason college football is so great.
Hmmm. I was just using ESPN's listing of standings, and grabbed the top couple of teams from each block. Didn't notice they have UF and Georgia listed above UK, and Tenn in spite of the extra loss... Interesting...
Terry, I was looking at the polls on Sportsline. The AP Poll at this time shows to have been updated at 03:52 this morning. The records have been updated but the rankings have not. May be part of the same issue you are seeing on ESPN.
