My Norton Anti-Virus keeps informing me that it has blocked a "known attack" on my computer. When I look up the source of the attack, Norton tells me that the source of the attack is the hard drive of THIS computer! I'm attacking myself? Norton says the attack comes from "Explorer.exe" on my hard drive. What's going on?

I also get "jumps" and "redirects" as I try to navigate the internet.

If you keep attacking yourself you'll go blind. 8) I know that's not much help...

Download AntiMalwareBytes and run it in safe mode and see what happens.

Whenever I have a problem I use Cnet.com I use their forums for help and also to use the free spyware/malware/protection. I have found this to work perfectly

When I was a teenager, I got my fill of having to use protection. I found the fix to that and have been married to that fix for almost 28 years. I have found the fix to my computer protection issues and hope to have at least 28 years with that fix as well! 8)
