We are winding down on the season quickly now and every game is vital to the contenders!

Big game here in Columbus between the Buckeyes and Spartans. A lot will depend on the shoulder injury to Connor Cook. This will be played up all week and no one really knows the condition of that shoulder.

Big 12 faces a couple critical games as well. Notre Dame and Boston College, no love lost there. The Tide just keeps rolling along.

Well while Alabama has a Bye week... :)

Baylor tries to bounce back going to Stillwater to play OSU, a team that they have not had much success against, but still it should be a great game and I give Baylor a pretty decent chance of pulling the upset.

TCU travels to Norman to take on OU. OU really playing well right now, and it's well documented that TCU has a problem on defense and with Boykin maybe not at full speed it'll be a tough game for TCU to pull the upset here.

Longhorns have a genuine bye week getting ready for Texas Tech on Thanksgiving Day in Austin.

Bad time to get Mizzou.... and Vandy too as they seem to be playing a little better.

Testy finish for a Tenn team looking for 8-4 and a decent bowl game.

If UF loses to both FSU and Alabama I'll be the first to admit that the Gators were not very far in front of the Vols this year.

The difference in the game between the two was miniscule so if Tenn goes 8-4 and UF goes 10-3 with those 2 finishing losses then that is something for a Tenn fan to hang their hat on for next year.

Of course I'm hoping like hell we don't go 0-2 in our last two games...

I see that Ezekial Elliot is not esp happy with the NCAA targeting him for his trademark 1/2 jersey. First of all he's hardly the first kid to have that half jersey look, it's been around a long time in college football. Brian Bosworth used it, amongst many others.

But he might as well get used to it, because the NFL will fine him for uniform infractions. They have representatives at every NFL game making sure the players are in "regulation" gear. Remember RGIII trying to wear gear that he personally endorsed but that was not NFL endorsed, Jim McMahon also had that thing with the head band. We have had several issues over the years with the Texans for players wearing non-standard stuff, one player was told in pre-game that if he came out in those socks that it would cost him 10,000.00 dollars.

    Heisman Race.

Right now it seems to be Derrick Henry's to lose, but then only a couple of weeks ago it seemed inconceivable that Fournette would not win it.

Elliot of Ohio State is always right there, but somehow can't get traction to get ahead of the SEC guys. He has MSU and UM games to showcase the talent.

New name...Baker Mayfield. He played great in the OU win vs Baylor and has big games vs TCU and OK STate to generate some momentum.

Truthfully I hope that Keenan Reynolds and Navy win out and that Reynolds wins the Heisman. He's a great player and truly embodies the award. I doubt he wins, but he'd get my vote.

USAFA beat Boise last night by passing the ball!!! I watched a little of that game and they looked pretty good. They only have to beat Bob Davie Coached UNM to get to the Mtn West Title game. Wouldn't it be awesome if USAFA wins the Mtn West and Navy wins the AAC??

Speaking of the AAC. Temple who seemed to have a lock on the AAC East at one time now has to win out to get to the Title game after USF won again handily by beating down Cincy. Temple plays Memphis this afternoon.

No really good teams this year in the SECE. Gators do have good Championship level defense, just zero offense.

MSU 2 turnovers an d Ohio State has scored off both of them.

    Bama cruising against CSU.

I didn't see any of the Gators game but I'm seein gsome talk that the sec refs gave them some calls o the last 2 plays.

Also seeing that ACC refs gave UNC that last TD that it was clearly not a catch

Wow, the fallout of this game.
    a. Next weeks OSU-M game doesn't mean much unless MSU loses to rather mediocre PSU.
    b. If MSU beats Iowa in the BT Championship game, do any BT teams make the playoffs?
