College Football Fantasy League - Scott Commissioner

Discussion for the Fantasy League goes here. Can't blame Sid for getting confused with only one topic and two discussions. I found myself asking myself for which one I was the commissioner. :wink: Of course, in the past few years, I find myself asking myself questions a lot... I am now answering though! :shock:

I'm still waiting to see if Corey is going to get his friends to join.
Our automatic draft is set for Wednesday. If Corey can't get his friends in by Tuesday, I'll shut down our current league and reset it for 8 players, and have the current players rejoin.

 

Just make certain that everyone will be available at the last minute. You may want to send out an e-mail to all current members in that league outlining the plans.

 

I've got 1 for sure.

I had 3 that I am flabbergasted turned down the chance as I know they read the boards here AND play these type of games.

I will try to get 1 more ready to go.. I have till Wed?

 

Dont' worry Tom, I get to choose the draft date, so I'll set it out as far as needed to let everyone get back in.

I'd like have the guys in place by tomorrow.
I believe the league will automatically close down if we don't have 10 players by Wednesday when the draft is scheduled.

I'll see if my brother wants to play in case your guys don't.

Scott, I think that if you change the league size to 8 teams, there still can be 9, 10, or whatever number of teams and you won't risk having it closed down.

My folks are having a hard time registering?

 

So are we going to end up with more than 10 now? Is that our limit? Can the league be expanded?

 

Looks like Bliss is in Corey. She makes 10. So does that mean no more can join?

 

I say if we get a surge of folks wanting to join at the end, that we let them join.

I just had 3 people prior to Bliss try to get in and couldn't..maybe a server fart on cbs' part.

 

You can't add beyond 10 players.
I think it has to do with their playoff system.
If we go over, it screws up the set up they are using.

I mentioned setting up 2 leagues if we had more than 10 players, but since interest seemed to be limited, I didn't bother.

 

No problem. Definitely don't need a 2nd league. I'll let my nephew know we're full.
