    Some familiar names struggling.

Duke loses two in a row.

Auburn gets up to number 4 then gets hammered by Alabama and Florida

    Kentucky in top 15.

North Carolina with a losing record?

Gators start the season picked by a lot of experts to be in final four. Not even ranked at this point. But we did just beat Auburn.

This has been an entirely different season for college basketball thus far. Difficult to say how the season will end?

Gonzaga continues it's run, looking at it's remaining schedule barring upsets they aren't likely to lose any more games going into the tourney.

Oklahoma played the Baylor bears tough last night, but could not quite complete the task. Baylor really looks good to me. Terry, what in the world happened to Texas last night against West Virginia?o_O

Don it's being called the Appalachian Atrocity by some. Longhorns are 2-4 in the B12 and not trending in a good direction. I think it's becoming more apparent all the time that Shaka Smart is not the right guy for the job. What ever good will and feeling came from winning the NIT last season are evaporating fast.

Quite a brawl at the KU/KSU game tonight. Maybe as bad as I've ever seen in college basketball.

There are going to be suspensions for sure.

Purdue did it's best to correct the Home/Away disparity in the B1G last night...by losing at home. :(

I can add to this topic finally! The Aggies won't make the tournament, but by gum we got us a real coach. I watched a few of our early games, and after seeing us get crushed in the Orlando Invitational (Even 7-10 Fairfield rubbed our face in the dirt) I thought we might end the season with 5 or 6 wins, and certainly NONE in conference play.
But slowly Buzz got them to start playing defense, and then they got a little confidence and started to learn to take better shots... We're still awful at the FT line, and erratic overall at times, but after the win at Mizzou last night we are 9-8 with 3 more conference wins than I thought we'd get all year.
He's recruiting very well, and in a year or two I hope to be back at the dance!

KU has indefinitely suspended one player, Silvio De Sousa, the guy who started it all. The rest he (Self) is leaving up to the KU/B12 to decided on punishment.

McDonalds AA game will be in Houston this year, on April Fools Day. Go figure.

Here's the roster....what do I notice. 1. No Ohio State players, 2. No Florida players 3. No Notre Dame players, 4. No Purdue players, 5. No Miami players, 6. No Washington State players, 1 player each for Michigan and UCLA...lineup is dominated by Duke, UNC and Kentucky players. I wonder what this will look like in a few years once the rules change and kids can go Pro again right out of HS.

    ROSTER

    Jalen Green (No. 1, uncommitted)

    Evan Mobley (No. 2, USC)

Cade Cunningham (No. 3, Oklahoma State)

    Jalen Suggs (No. 5, Gonzaga)

    B.J. Boston (No. 6, Kentucky)

    Ziaire Williams (No. 7, uncommitted)

    Terrence Clarke (No. 8, Kentucky)

    Greg Brown (No. 9, uncommitted)

    Josh Christopher (No. 10, uncommitted)

The girls team has 5 5-star Oregon commits on the roster including one from my granddaughter’s HS team who is a candidate for Indiana Miss Basketball.

There is only one girl from the state of Ohio on the team and it is a Westbeld from Dayton who is committed to ND. I played football with her uncles.

Oregon is the new mecca for women's basketball apparently. They have an absolutely loaded team this year and next year even though they will lose the Nations top player to graduation, they will still be loaded. South Carolina is another team that is gathering up tons of highly rated players. UConn is still UConn but the rest of the field has caught up with them.
