Most ND fans swear that she was a "silent" verbal to ND but late decided to stay home and play for Iowa. That was a great decision, Iowa's roster during her 4 years has been perfect for her game. While she would have been great where ever she went, I doubt if she'd have had the same career as she's had at Iowa.

Purdue fans deserve to bask in the sunshine. Remember watching excellent teams of their past have their seasons derailed by injuries or heartbreaking losses. Great to see Painter, Keady and their fans in the FF.

Besides setting even more records in the win over LSU, Iowa and Clark also set a new record for viewership at 12M+ and also out in Vegas there was more action on the game than any other women's basketball game.

Easy explanation: Everyone hates that clown show L$U as much as I do, and wanted to see them lose.
    :p

It was a rematch of a great game and a great matchup of two very talented basketball teams. There was enough off-court drama to gin up more interest and it was in prime time. I did notice that it was the most watched ESPN basketball game ever, not the most watched basketball game ever.

I watched some of the semis NIT last night and was very impressed with Indiana State. I think they should have been in the NCAA Tournament?

Seton Hall had a crazy finish, down 77-70 they then had a 9-0 run to win 79-77. That has to hurt for Indiana State to go cold with the victory in it's grasp.

Women's Final Four starts tonight with South Carolina/NCState the early game. The Gamecocks are still prohibitive favorites to win it all but they have played some close games, IU gave them all they could handle. I expect that if NCState plays to their potential they will give them a game.

The Iowa/UCONN game should be very interesting. Clark is Clark but Paige Bueckers has had a great tournament. UCONN is thin though. If Clark has a game like she did vs LSU don't see how UCONN can win, but you never know.

Wow close game at the half 32-31 South Carolina. But they came out and blitzed them in the 3rd qtr, out scored them 29-=6. NC State looks defeated, I think South Carolina can sort of name the score at this point.

Right now UCONN has made Clark ordinary with the defense of Nika Muhl who gets my vote for Ms Final Four!!

Clark looks lost out there this evening, UConn has a great defense but Clarks seems rushed and off on her shots.

Iowa is fortunate to be only down 6. Muhl definitely clamped her down in the 1H.

UConn’s player movement on offense is masterful.

Wow what a finish, that was a tough offensive foul called on Edwards at that point in the game, I did think it was a foul but if I were a UCONN fan I'd be pissed. Iowa almost gave it back to them though with some late turnovers.

To me the critical point was Kate Martin, who I really like as a player, finally got some shots to fall in the 2nd half.

I can't see Iowa beating South Carolina though, maybe if Clark goes off for 50.
