Careful what you wish for, it's the end of college sports if they get what they want.

A college athletes advocacy group filed a labor complaint Tuesday afternoon asserting that the federal government should view all FBS-level football players and Division I men's and women's basketball players as employees of their schools.

Complaint: College athletes should be 'employees'

I have been preaching on here for years that once these kids are treated as anything other than what they are which are student-athletes who have bartered their athletic talents for an opportunity at a free college education, room and board and all the perks that come with that individual sport and instead treated as "professionals" with special monetary comp and the ability to leave on a whim then its all over. The next thing you will have is sports agent representation beginning in high school, holdouts, walkouts, strikes and all the ******** that plagues professional sports. If the NCAA and its members don't rescind all this nonsense right now the game will be lost forever. These kids need college football as much as the game needs them.
