This article from 11 Warriors.com, local daily publication: http://www.elevenwarriors.com/skull-sessions/2014/07/37563/thursday-skull-session

No thugs present, no one shot, neighbors locked their doors!

A little bit of everything here this morning for OSU fans, SEC, and of course Michigan fans.

I love this time of the year as we approach another college football season with high aspirations and we are all undefeated at this point! :

Damn.... that's a lot of vacumning for poor Shelly

Meyer used to do the same sort of thing at UF.

He probably had the coaches and their families there too.

His reasoning was that the players could get to meet all of the families and hopefully come to the realization that if they were slackers and didn't get the job done then their actions could have a negative impact ( job loss ) on all of those coaches and their families.

Wow what a home, looks like it's a really, really, big house. Very nice. I think a lot of coaches though have the players over for a dinner. I know Mack used to do it at Texas and I'm pretty sure that Brian Kelly does it at Notre Dame as have previous coaches.

I noticed that Ohio State and Mich AD's are in agreement that their game will never be on in prime time, will remain a day game. I also saw that Ohio State will play a record number of night games this year for them, 5 was the number in that article. I think TV is driving that, Irish like most Midwestern teams traditionally have played mostly day games, for a lot of reasons but I know at ND part of it was we had a lot of fans who drove to the game from outside South Bend and a night game puts them on the highway pretty late. But this year like the Buckeyes we'll be playing a lot of night games due to TV demands. But only 1 of those, the Mich game, will be at home.

    Terry,
I would hate to see THE GAME changed from a noon time start, which has always been set in stone, to a night game due to tradition.

No question night games are played for the big bucks to keep the coffers full.

Lou Holtz brought the team to his home at least once during the off-season and sometimes more often.

Not unusual at all Sid. Thad Matta does it for the basketball players as well. Not quite as expensive though!

    Hopefully in your lifetime.

Ain't gonna be that far off in the future. You don't need to be dyin' off that early.

    Money talks.
