The Claremont Colleges are a cesspool of left-wing activity. They see themselves as an intellectual elite who're surrounded by racist, homophobic, yahoos who are are plotting to overrun them at any minute. A few years ago, the campus was tagged with racist grafitti; cars and classrooms were vandalized with swastikas etc. Jesse Jackson was called in. The Reverend Al was here too. There were mass demonstrations of students and professors against the local yahoo, racist, Republicans who were obviously responsible for this "Klan-like" activity. An investigation by the Claremont Police and the FBI determined that the criminals who vandalized everything were Claremont College professors who were manufacturating racism, homophobia and "Klan-like" activities where none existed so that they could justify their demonstrations. Even after one professor was found guilty and sent to prison, the local lefties continued to defend these actions... Here's the latest, (this week) and remember that I live right down the street from the Claremont Colleges and I used to coach in Claremont. The local savages that they're trying to provoke include me and my family. How ridiculous of a concept is a "hate" crime? Because a crime is committed against a select group of people, it is somehow more heinous than if the same crime were committed against a different group? If a single, straight, white, male did the same thing against one of these groups that the same group did back to that individual, the individual is somehow MORE vigorously prosecuted and punished? How does that make sense???
