Just letting some of you guys who I haven't been able to get back in touch with that I'm alive and kicking. My already fairly complicated life just took a major wallop. I'll spare you the boohoos and the heart break. The immediate concern is literally being stuck with a huge amount of bills and a small amount of salary. I think it's something I'll get on top of, but it's going to take me a few weeks to really get this hammered out. I still stop by and read when I can. I really haven't had it in me to get up and do much lately, but I gotta because there's **** that's gotta be done. Just wanted to thank those who inquired and let you know I'm still breathing.
Corey, It was good to hear your voice. Glad to see that your outlook is getting better. Don't bottle these things up. You have my numbers.
Sorry to hear things are tough for you, glad to hear though that your spirits are up and that you are working on turning things around. Terry
You got through living in Duluth, Corey. I still cannot imagine the culture shock you went through moving there as a young man from So. Cal. You will get through this. If I could place a bet on your ability to spit in the face of adversity, I bet I would win. Bob
Hang tough, Corey. The cream always rises to the top. Do the the right thing every day and the rest is just details.
you're good men, all of you. (and Cindy if you're peeking in) those who insist on some detail. You can follow my blog: http://thecoreyoconnor.blogspot.com/ After Tuesday, I'll be without a home PC and a lot of other much more important items (imagine that? A guy who works in the tech field who doesn't have a computer? FML hahaha) Quick replies: tom-Thank you. I'll have to watch my minutes soon so I don't know how many calls after 9 or on the weekend you can get Sid and Terry-Thank you. It will get done. Bobda-You bet your ass George-Indeed it does. I take the high road for now. It's just easier. Than the game begins by my rules.
I don't stop by the Back Room every day but this will probably change that as I just found this topic. Hang in their Corey. I just read your blog and will now visit there more often also. You have your priorities right with who is important to you and we will be pulling for you.
I sometimes lose track of the minutes issue. With Sprint, I have free mobile to mobile so I don't think about it. I also only use about 70% of my paid minutes. If you have a land line, you ring me and I'll call it back.
Corey.....you're a tough guy and I have always enjoyed our debates even when we do not agree.... which is often. I do highly respect your ability to express yourself and your energy so I think you will use these attributes to your advantage to improve your situation. Good luck and hang tough my friend.
Dave, I assure you... If you and I got a chance to hang out, the difference between us isn't as great as you think. I am far more sympathetic to some of your stances than you realize. There is a clear line between our opinions, but not as much as you'd think.
