They didn't mention that the Husker fans travel extremely well and are amongst the nicest and most knowledgeable fans around. When the come to Austin, they come in droves and they spend a lot of money. When you travel to Lincoln they cheer you, win or lose, after the game.

I'll be curious to see how Pellini progresses with the Huskers. Neb is not a large state with regards to population and they don't have many top football players in the state either. They have to recruit more widely than say Texas or Texas A&M or even their old rival OU. Pellini has a lot of kids from Texas in his current recruiting class, the question is did he win battles with Mack for the top talent in the state or did he just get the ones Mack didn't want. Because if every year Mack and Stoops along with A&M get the pick of the litter so to speak, he's going to have to be a hell of a coach in terms of talent developement to be able to bring the Huskers back up to the Texas/OU level in the B12.

I gotta agree with Terry on this one. There simply are no classier fans in all of college football than Huskernation.

    Gentleman, please continue.

    Outbound,

Right now I'm thinking that our achilles heel is still our week secondary. Clemson exploits that, we're toast. Plain and Simple. We'll score some points, but if your D is as advertised, it will slow us down to the point of a possible loss in what hopefully is a close game.

The d is good linebackers maybe a little inexperienced, have been watching and reading some Husker news and I think it could go either way, the strength and drive of that team is awesome.

    :D hahahaha

I gotta hand it to those Husker fans. They take the high road and always appreciate the effort given by the young men on both sides.

I think they'd have a nastier streak if they had to deal with Michigan and USC on an annual basis. They think they have it rough with the Colorado Penal colony and the Oklahoma school for the academically (and morally) challenged. With the glaring exception of Bobda, who is a man of tremendous character, wit and heart, the rest of mGOBLOW nation is a rather obnoxious and nasty pack.. Don't even get me started on the Trojans..

As for this game, I think it may be a shoot out early in which both defenses settle down and the one who makes the best adjustments at halftime wins.
