Al Capone was a big sports fan and he took his boy "Sonny" to baseball and football games whenever he could. Today's LA Times notes that the last time Nebraska played Northwestern in Chicago, Big Al was there with Sonny ......as well as Machine Gun Jack McGurn and all his other henchmen. One other note: Big Al also owned his own set a baseball bats, which he was known to use...

This rare film shows Big Al in one of his most famous at bats. A notoriously good contact hitter, his downward swing plane is highlighted here.

Tastefully presented George. The other diners appeared to swallow Big Al's line of thinking...after he made some adjustments at the plate.
