Recent Gallup survey says......nobody is trusted less than members of Congress....so naturally the libs want to entrust them with ever increasing influence in our daily lives....nice.

No matter the reasons.... one of out four who actually would admit in a poll that wrongdoing should be a part of their strategy is a huge number.

And we should privatize social security and entrust these crooks with our retirement? Let's all vote GOP so the Consumer Credit Protection Act can be thrown out the window so these guys can get down to their dirty business of stealing other people's money.

I don't believe too much at all from the right wing blogs that it seems many of you soley read for your political news.

This came from Yahoo Finance as reported by Reuters.

Seems more legit than Ann Coulter's "Politics My Way You Lousy No Good SOB Lib Dems" blog......

It seems that the public places more trust in those cretin bankers than congress by a very wide margin.....what does that tell ya about who they'd rather entrust with their money.....there just isn't any good way for the lib/dem/socialists to spin this one.....

You read into it that they "admit in a poll that wrongdoing should be a part of their strategy ". That is a misrepresentation of what it says.

I would be interested in knowing how many actually do engage in illegal conduct. Like any poll, a lot depends on the wording of the question...perhaps the way it is worded leads them to answer that way because of frustrations over some regulations that make it difficult to be successful.

And keep in mind that over three fourths of Wall Street executives therefore believe that they can be successful without any kind of unethical or illegal conduct.

So Stu....there is 1 out of 4 that thinks he cannot be successful then?

Good luck spinning the wheel with the 1 out of 4 chance that you will get the guy who either will be up to no good or that feels he cannot be successful.

And BT.....which party has the majority of the members of such an untrustworthy congress to call it's own?
    :)

The answer is, "it doesn't matter". The Senate is close behind and last I checked the socialists had a majority. I would submit to you that both houses have been at the bottom no matter who has the majority......

I would agree the distrust is bi-partisan.....too many agendas being promoted on both sides at the expense of good legislation.

...not to mention the outright greed, dishonesty and corruption that is simply a failing of the human condition, no matter the occupation.
