I have a good feeling miami will come back to their standards this season. So far in spring practice, everything looks good. Coker said Moore and Leggett are playing phenominal. And that Moore is more talented than Reggie Wayne was. Hopefully with moore and leggett and darnell jenkins and well as Olsen(how could i forget, seems like the coaching staff did though last year) we will finnally bring back that dynamic passing offence. D looks very solid. Go Canes!!! About D1 teams not wanting to play Canes Division-I powers avoid M1AM1, according to the ACC Sports Journal.... Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Miami's philosophy has always been that the football team will play anybody, anywhere, in a two-game series if the deal is right, but the Hurricanes don't appear to have many takers. Here's proof. UM sought a quality opponent for a two-game series that would begin in 2006, filling that 12'th game vacancy. But in the 12'th hour, the Hurricanes had to agree to a deal with Florida International, because there were no other suitable takers. Miami coach Larry Coker has questioned why the Hurricanes have to play formidable (UF, OU, tOSU, Texas A&M) opponents on the road first in various series. If it wasn't for television networks forcing the hand of some other conferences, and teams such as Oklahoma, which UM will play in Norman in 2007 and then host in 2009 thanks to ABC (which set up the game), the Hurricanes would be left to buy games with smaller Florida programs and other lesser-known schools looking for a payday. However, unlike other schools, UM can't use all four of its non-conference games just to pad their record, because south Florida fans want to see competitive games, and the football team's ticket sales drive the athletic department financially. That's why Athletic Director Paul Dee usually finds himself between a rock and a hard place with teams such as Colorado, which tried for years to get out of the return game UM was owed, before finally playing it last season. Now there is talk that Texas A&M is trying to push back its series with UM, which is scheduled to start in 2007. Maybe the television networks will convince the Aggies that playing UM is good business. Nothing else seems to be working." ACC Area Sports Journal Vol. XXIX No.14 3/9-3/22 2006.
i agree 100% the canes will be well armed this season, maybe not as much as usual but well armed indeed
it might be so, but they still win, thats all that counts right  your not still upset about the 01 rose bowl are you??? btw how did couch turn out in the nfl??? havent heard much about him, mabe you can give me a heads up haha just playing hopefully nebraska gets back to the level they were at before
HAHA <r>I like you Dolphins Fan it's good to have some more Miami fans on the board. I agree with what your saying since we have a new and improved coaching staff and some decent recruits plus young stars like legget and olsen i think the canes will go preeeety far this season............<br/> <br/> too bad Florida will never <E></E></r>
re: "it might be so, but they still win, thats all that counts right ." If winning was all that counted, the stands in Miami would be filled for every home game...but the place is a ghost town. Army, Navy and Air Force draw bigger crowds, but usually lose. I wonder what their fans are cheering for? ..........Inquiring Minds Want to Know......JO'Co
thats true, alot of the canes fans go to the game when their winning or if their still in the NC hunt, if not, you wont see many their. But when its a big game, everyone goes. miami fans arent the best sports fans
I had already addressed the 2001 Rose Bowl game several times, most recently with your step cousin lil G. Now if your looking to lock horns pal, take a look at my avatar and then figure out real quick that I take crap off someone for about as long as it takes to get a whiff of it.
u shouldnt comment on miami like you have some kind of credibility behind it, where has nebraska been of late?? The joke of College Football
theirs that weak response again. if anything nebraskans have that turd smell, other than miles and miles of cornfields, a lousy college football team, and no proffesional sports teams, nebraska isnt much?? miami, nebraska hmmm??tough choice thanks for trying though

Dolphin Fan.....u just got here and now you are kicking butt and takikng names You got everybody all riled up with your deep knowledge of sports versus the hot air that prevails here among the old timers. Who or What is the U.......man you stole the name for the wrong reasons.....if you are a Gator lover....just say so......I know its hard to do...but hey, we can respect that there are all kinds of people in this word. And for Lil G.....man what can I say.....you have taken the batan well. The Gonz
Gonzo, first let me say you have more hot air that the total of most of the old timers here. Secondly this is not the place to be kicking butt and taking names. Third, if what little Gonzo is doing is passing the baton I suggest you think over seriously what baton you are passing. As Terry says there may well be another internet board more of the style that these new members might like, but it isn't likely to be here. Gonzo, you can be part of the problem or part of the solution, your choice. But let me assure you that this small board is not going to become a pi$$@g contest for some young posters who can talk to each other in school. It may be you can help nip it in the bud but that's your choice. Then it may become the moderators problem or choice as how to handle. Have a nice day. Gator Bill
