The Astros are distracted by their version of WWF. The main event was held a couple of days ago in the team cafeteria.

Local kid and erstwhile Red Sox Mark Loretta has been getting some clutch hits in this series. Three-run shot yesterday and he just put the 'Stros up a run going into the 9th. Sox bats struggling with runners on; Okie not looking so dokie.

Sox end up in second place in their division after the loss. Congratulations on winning the series, Astros fans.

Gosh we're going to miss the NL here in Detroit. After sweeping the Dodgers, the Tigers won series vs. SF, SD and SL before sweeping the Rockies. For the first time since opening day they're above water and above .500. Some turds can float.

No doubt the AL crushed the NL in Inter-league play, not a good sign for All-Star game and the World Series.

 13 runners left on base...relief pitching non , no, nada. Yakahoma needs to go home...he is as done as any pitcher I ever saw. Astros need a manager and 1 or 2 players to contend!

And Tampa Bay has the best record in baseball today, following last night's loss by the Cubs. Big week for the Sox ahead. Need to regain some momentum going into the All-Star Break.

Must be something in the water at Minute Maid Park.
Good thing he doesn't have the same lack of value to the Red Sox as Shaun Chacon did to the Astros!! :)

I'd be interested to know what led to the confrontation. Manny seems to be a pretty laid back guy.

Edit: I read about it after posting the above. I'm current.
