I don't blame them either...seems appropriate...at least at first look.

However...let's not forget that CBS owns the SEC college television package, and of course there is the Notre Dame College Network, sometimes referred to as NBC.

Not as large an affiliation, perhaps as the B10 network, but you gonna cut the B10 affiliated guys out and leave the SEC affiliated guys in?

Don't many sportswriters who vote have close ties to certain teams?

Where do you draw the final line?

And NBC gets to keep it's voters, despite formatting it's broadcasts to favor the Irish..

Got a better idea...why not just limit NBC to commercial breaks whilst the Irish are on defense?

TV timeouts usually occur after scores, changes in possession or during injuries. NBC has had longer TOs than the other networks broadcasting college games. The new changes now bring NBC in line with CBS, ESPN, Fox etc. But hey, never pass up a chance to tweek Irish fans.
Here's another rumor not widely known. Kelly's had them cut the grass very LOW for this year. Now that's really cheating. :p

C'mon...bashing is bad but a little tweaking oughta be legal.

I think the TV timeouts should be equal across the board and even if this is a little Homer treatment so what? I was mainly talking about the original premise of B10 network guys getting kicked out of the loop while NBC guys aren't despite obviously "working together", if you will. No big deal but you brought it up. :)

So is it the former NBC broadcast guy who is now the AD at SC or the new one the BC grad that should be off the poll because of.....ND bias?

Never argue with Gip. Just take yer medicine.

U lost me on that one but had a couple Makers watching the Bucks.

I'm not lobbying for throwing any of them off. Just smell a wiff of unequal treatment. I have admitted that it's debatable. Also admit I am not in ur class as a debator.

Yeah, Stu but you're the one enjoying Makers. Don't drink alcohol when I'm watching Utah play. :D
