I second Joel's assessment. He got off to a slow start this season, but he will contribute good power and consistent hitting. I wondered where they were going to put him, but I see they sent Jason Lane, who was hitting only .205, down to AAA.

I am just guessing here, but with Mike Lamb hitting so well I would assume that Preston Wilson will move to CF and Berkman will stay in RF and Lamb at 1st, that would allow Huff to play LF.

I feel sorry for Chris Burke, he really is ready to be a full time player at 2nd base, but he's stuck playing the outfield which to his credit he's never complained about. He has to be counting the days till Biggio gets his 3000th hit and retires so he can play 2nd base full time.

I don't know what will happen to Willie Tavares, he had a great rookie year and is clearly our best CF, he has the speed and range plus the arm that none of the other guys have, but he's struggled at the plate this year after hitting almost .300 last year.

Now what to do to get Morgan Ensberg back on track.

BTW Jason Lane will not be missed 1) he's a USC Trojan and 2) He's hits into more double plays than anybody I've ever seen.
