Two different halves in this game. The Nittany Lions could not seem to do any wrong in the fist half and Ohio State could not do much right!

Trailing 14-3 at halftime, Buckeyes finally scored with a TD by Dan Herron, who had a super day rushing the football.

Pryor was not real sharp on his throws and had a pick that cost us a TD at the two yard line.

Two intercecptions that were returned for 30 yard TDs put us on a roll in the last 30 minutes.

Tressel is now 3-4 on weeks following a bye.

I know how you feel Don.
As long as you win that 2nd half... it's all good!

I only saw highlights of this one, so I can't say much else, but it sure looked like the Bucks woke up in the 3rd, and dominated from there.

It's official, I hate bye weeks. Stu tried to warn me....wow. Looked like we were sleepwalking thru the first half defensively and on the other side of the ball we had no rhythm, timing in the passing game was clearly off, but give PSU some credit for scheming to take away alot of what TP does best and the young PSU QB for getting on a roll....

2nd half different story...adjustments to coverages confused the young man resulting in two pick 6's and making the Nits pay for what they were taking away from the point of attack to defend TP and we just shredded their interior for over 300 yards rushing - unusual for a Penn St defense.....

Big, big ballgame next week against a very good Iowa team who - after a tough loss yesterday on the road - can make their season by knocking us out of contention for a record 6th straight title.

No thread hijack intended, but ND's post bye week experience was completely different......unless the coaching staff replaced all the pre bye week players and had the new guys playing with the same names. We were a completely different team in a good way from start to finish.

No prob Sid...I can see how a week off can have a very different effect on different teams. The Irish had been struggling, had to deal with the effects of the terrible tragedy, so the week off obviously had a very positive impact. Congrats on a very nice win....
