Compassion is a great and wonderful thing..... http://myespn.go.com/blogs/bigten/0-3-412/Detroit-billboard-celebrates-Buckeye-dominance.html Sorry Bobda my friend, this was too good to pass up......
Whoa.....isn't the game in AA this year? You can bet RR has chartered a team bus to come on over to Detroit and ride by this billboard a few dozen times.....
How many times can you drive a team of Christians by a billboard put up by Lions inorder to give the Christians a chance against the Lions.
.....especially given that their "messiah" decided instead to take his ministry to Columbus. He would be a beast in RR's offense to be sure.
Enjoy it while it lasts, BT. This series goes in cycles with M going 9 and in more recent times, 6 years without losing to the Bucks. The good times may be ending sooner than you think.
Indeed it does Bobda, indeed it does.....and I can remember several of them, not all of which were good. At some point as you suggest, the tide will turn, but at present I'm quite happy with the state of our program and believe it to be in extremely capable hands. Will RR turn around the maize and blue? I hope so, I really do......just so long as he doesn't make a habit of doing it on the third Saturday in November!
I think RR will have M back as a top 10 program in 2-3 years. You could see last year, in bits and pieces, that his offense will be great once he gets the players that fit his system. I know many of the faithful are ready to tar and feather him after last year's nightmare but I am not a member of that club.
I think RichRod will have you back up to snuff in very little time... The game this year could be interesting...we have a lot of unanswered questions ourselves. Having said that, when my buddy Crazy John starts getting puffed up I tell him he can't talk smack until you beat us!
Based on his track record you have to figure that he'll have a better team this year. Hopefully the Irish will pin another loss on him early in the season though. You guys are going to be woefully young at the critical position for his offense though, QB. That said he did take an unknown QB named Pat White and as a freshman win enough games to win the Big East. I think White didn't start till the 4th or 5th game, then wow. That beat down he and Slaton put on Georgia in the Bowl that year was amazing, it's then I became a big Pat White fan. Wheter or not Tate Forcier or the other freshman who's not yet on campus are the next comming of Pat White we won't know for awhile though.
