    This story doesn't probably mean much to y'all...but Tom Hamilton is my favorite play-by-play guy. Does the Cleveland Indians but also does a great job (IMO) on basketball for the Big Ten Network. Here he is watching (not broadcasting) his son's first at bat at the Big League level;

    For sure I don't know him, but the story is a great story. We had a guy named Milo Hamilton as the Astro's broadcaster for years, very popular....I wonder if they are related?

    Milo Hamilton was the Cubs' radio play by play guy before the Astros.

    Wow! Nice story! We don't get stories like that in Dodgertown; quite the opposite. I remember when Al Campanis traded his own son...

    I'd forgotten that Milo wasn't always and Astro.

    I gotta be honest here...if my son was stuck on the Indians....well.... :wink:

    I'M KIDDIN'!!....Great story.....

    On a side note, just back from Grand Island, NE....Tax write off #3 took the mound to start the game....5 scoreless innings...gave them a 4-0 lead....bullpen and defense lost the game in extras 5-4.....and you think Tom was crying....
