Bought an Apple i Mac

    Ordered a new 27" i Mac. It should be here Wednesday.

    Not the first time I have owned an Apple but the first time we have had an Apple desktop since our first computer was an Apple 2e about 35 years ago.

    I bought my wife the same computer 6 months ago and she loves it. You should be pleased with this purchase, good luck.

    The only thing that stops me is that AMD is the only available processor. Probably nothing wrong with them but a mental block as an ex-Intel employee.

    Bill,

    How is the new iMac working??? My wife complains that she is thrown off the wifi more than anyone else in the house but I have come to understand she is a snob when it comes to computers. She says my ipad is too small along with my iphone when it come to using them. This from a person using a 27" screen... This addiction to needing larger than life tools is making me nervous in other areas :shock: :p

    Well according to the Internet and TV ads there is a pill for that!! :)

    Of course these pills in one form or another have been around for awhile!!

    I don't seem to get here as often as I mean to, however I am enjoying the iPad, I don't use it quite as much here at home as I did on our vacation, but that may change.

    Ralph, the iMac is working fine. I love it but also love my laptop and iPad so usage gets split.
