I guess it's time to take another geography class. Unless "Big East" is referring to "anything East of the Pacific coast"?

I thought we had figured out that a whole lot of mediocre teams didn't equal a tough conference, that it really ended up giving you a mediocre conference? The Big East needs to lose its auto bid whether or not BSU joins.

I see where BSU and AF would be football only members. They're non-football sports are going to have a hard time scheduling.

I would assume that Boise and USAFA non-football sports will find a suitable small conference. I was reading Colorado Springs Sports pages and they were talking about USAFA getting out of the Mtn West because their non-football sports were not competitive and they wanted to find a home for them. I would assume this is somewhat true for Boise as well.

The question is does the BE still deserve an automatic bid. I would think not.

I saw somewhere tonight that the MWC and C-USA are either talking about merging or have decided to merge for football. If true, this may mess with Boise State's and Air Force's minds.

Boise said "no." They're in a better conference than the sinking Big Least already.
