Stu, that was a a very impressive win over Wisconsin by the Boilers yesterday! Looks like Coach Painter is very comfortable with his young team.

Indiana ran into a buzz saw from UCONN and ended their 29 home game winning streak. Calhoun had suspended two guards as well. Eric Gordon did not have a good day.

My buckeyes notched a nice win from Minnesota at home. If we can continue to improve, I think we can make the Big Dance. Tubby Smith has done wonders up in Minneapolis.

Thanks, Don...I expected the Purdue freshmen to make some noise this year but they are coming along faster than expected.

Nice thing is that none of them are expected to jump early like Indiana's Gordon...we may have all four for four years.

I watched the Buckeye-Minnie game at my son's house in Nashville (long way to drive to get the Big Ten Network  ) and we continue to win with an aggresive zone defense. Too many cold spells on offense and we need to get more O in the paint...in my opinion.

It probably does not speak volumes about the difference between the Big10 and BE, but IMO it was a good indication of the strength of the BE this year. Granted, IU was due for a cold-shooting game, but UConn was not at full strength because of the suspensions, and they beat IU at home, which is very, very hard to do. It gives me hope that ND might fare well over the course of the season heading toward the tournament, because they beat a full-strength UConn team at ND a few weeks ago.

That was a very impressive win for Purdue. Painter is doing a great job with a young team. Purdue has owned Wisconsin at W. Lafayette for the past 8-10 years, which include some very good WI teams and some so-so Purdue teams.
