Last year an MSU football player seriously injured a hockey player at the school and actually was sentenced to jail for it.

As you can see, that wasn't enough to get this kid thrown off the team or out of school. Fast forward to last month.

Apparently Winston was one of a number of MSU football players who after leaving their football banquet staged an attack on a frat party on campus.
This is apparently a pretty serious incident and there may be criminal charges filed eventually.

Unless things have changed, MSU always seemed to bring in a lot of questionable character type of kids. So to me this isn't suprising.

It sounds like there should be charges filed. I'll wait to see where the evidence shakes out but I'm betting this kid does time.

Terry is right... for all the ball bustin we give Bobda, Michigan State always seems to take the criminal element or the borderline retarded (or combination of both)... I use to give Saban grief about that as I believe he has some real doozies when he was there.

However, he didn't really seem to do the same at LSU... at least to the annual extent that he did at Michigan State.. I know at Alabama the microscope is so large that he doesn't even play with that crap.. And if a kid wanders down the criminal road, he tosses him.

I wonder if it is something institutional at MSU?
