Only the second conference in BCS era to have 4 wins against top 15 teams.

Nice win for Iowa last night. Stanzi looked great.

Defense sure held the Yellow Jackets in check.

I love the service academy style of football, but I think the flaw for a major team like Ga Tech is that if you give a good defense a month to prepare for it then you can really stop it. Last year it was LSU that stopped it, earlier this year when Miami had 2 weeks to prepare for it then they stopped it.

During the season most of the time the defense 1) doesn't have enough time to prepare for such a different offense and 2) average or bad defense isn't good enough. So bottom line is I can see a lot of problems for Ga Tech in the future against good defenses in bowls. Navy and Air Force aren't usually going to get the same level of team in the bowls, in fact this year USAFA got a UH team with a bad defense and Navy got a Missouri team with a so so defense.

B10 was overdue for a good bowl season. Congrats.

Good bowl season for the Big 10.

Terry, I agree about the Georgia Tech offense. It's going to win a lot of games for them but they will get beat by better teams on a consistent basis. It's to one dimensional.
