Best Throw to 3rd base by RF ever?

    I love that throw, next to the play at the plate that situation is the most exciting in baseball!!

    Wow indeed! Everything Ichiro does is textbook. Defensively, he's probably the best since Roberto Clemente.

    That was textbook alright but I've seen better and longer. Ichiro is an excellent outfielder.

    No doubt a great throw, but the 3rd baseman had to move his glove to make the tag - not by much, but he did have to move it. All nominations have to be judged by how far the fielder had to move his glove to apply the tag...... :wink:

    I agree, Terry. It's a great and exciting play to watch. My son's HS baseball team had a rightfielder who, in addition to being a great kid, had a rocket arm and gunned downed a few runners at 3b during his HS career.

    Speaking of great arms...how about Rocky Colavito in RF that guy had a cannon. Have Cleveland fans ever forgiven Frankie "Trader" Lane? :)
