Hopefully BDR will be proud of this report.

Tried the Sam Adams NOBLE PILSNER last night.

As advertised, you could taste the ever so slight citrus and extra hops tone.

Good color and a slight foamy head (like you'd get from a Stout or other Dark beer) after the pour which was surprising out of a Pilsner.

The 2nd bottle confirmed my suspicions of a very subtle "Hoppy" after taste.

    7.8 on the smooth scale.
    8.1 on the taste scale.

Overall I'd give it a loose 8.0 rating.

$7.25 a six pack at your local class 6 shop.

    That is all.

RECcane...I have a grapefruit tree that hangs over my back fence, my neighbor always says take anything hanging in your yard. It was below 32 for about 48 hours here, as low as 18. How do I know if the fruit is bad? Do you have to taste it?

Grapefruit has a thick peel and is harder to freeze but with those temps and durations Terry it is more than likely toast....Citrus is good down to 28 degrees and then every hour after it hits 28 or below it starts to incur damage. It all comes down to how long it experienced the freezing temps. If you had cold weather the last couple of weeks building up to this last cold event it would have put the tree into dormancy and enabled the tree to withstand colder than normal temps but the fruit does not experience that benefit.

Feel your grapefruit to check for softness and look for water in the fruit when you cut it open. My recommendation is to eat as much as you can because it will degrade quickly. It will not hurt you but start to taste watery and eventually fall off the tree.
