    this board will go into hybrid recruiting/hoops mode after the bowls and then full blown march madness after that.

    Not as big a basketball fan as a football fan, but both my teams should be good this year. Texas and Notre Dame both have experienced squads that should have good seasons and at least get 1 NCAA tourney win with Sweet 16 not out of reach.

    The Irish have a tougher road than Texas though with the Big East being incredibly deep this year. The B12 is good as usual, KU and OU seem to be the best, with Texas not far behind or ahead depending! :?

    I'm currently watching South Carolina vs Wofford. South Carolina is only up 6 wiht 5:42 left in the first half. Looks to be a let down game after coming off the upset of #20 Baylor.

    South Carolina ended up winning tonight by 17. They just looked tired. Probably cause it was their 3rd game in 7 days and the last 2 were very hard fought emotional games.

    Don't want to start any major arguments here but I believe that Florida's success wasn't due to Spurrier. I think that Stoops had a lot to do with their success. Could be wrong. Just an opinion.

    Thanks. You guys are looking strong at 11-2 right now. You've got conference play starting off with Auburn and Tennessee down the road a bit. Do you think you can contend for the East this year?
