Do you think we'll see the Detroit reliever again who gave up the walk-off grand slam to Cruz last night in the bottom of the 11th after putting 3 runners on base with no outs?

I had to laugh. I think it would be impossible to pitch in extra innings with the score tied, get no outs and give up 4 runs. It just doesn't get worse than that.

I'm rooting for the Tigers. I like Leyland. They need to turn it up a notch at home.

We ain't dead yet but we have no room for any slip ups. Porcello has to be getting that sinker down today.

AJ just can't get away from Texas can he? I'm sure he thought he was free of Texas when the Huskers moved to the B10! Now here he is back rooting for a Red Team vs a Texas Team. Ironic! :)

Does anybody think that Larussa maybe did his best coaching job this year?

Yes. He's a Hall-of-Fame coach and his performance over the final six weeks has been amazing...

I see the McCourts finally got their divorce settled and Frank ends up with sole control of the Dodgers....Is this a good thing?

IMO, it clears up the confusion about the ownership and sets the stage for the battle between MLB and McCourt Whatever happens, it will take a long time and will be a huge payday for the lawyers on both sides

I'm sure each side will have expert testimony from beancounters who will be making a huge payday too.

Of course. My point was that it will not be an easy road for MLB to restore the integrity of the franchise. McCourt will fight tooth and nail to hold onto the Dodgers. I just hope the franchise can keep its head above water for the number of seasons it's going to take to settle the problem.

Heckuva game going on in the World Series. As I write this, it's bottom 9 with Rangers ahead 2-1 and Cardinal 1st batter walked. It's been riveting to this point.
