I'm not happy that this USC thing has caused an argument between JO'Co and Terry/me. I'd like to drop the USC issue and start a topic where all three of us are on common ground. The link below is to an article which confirms that Dewayne Walker and his staff are staying at UCLA. Walker talks about being recruited by Ty..............

    I wonder

<t>if Ty sat on his couch for hours on end... or every time Walker told him 'no' Ty just responded by saying 'yes' and grinned maniacally back at him?<br/>

I am happy about this development but I fear that this means Ken Norton Jr will not be coming aboard the Bruins staff... If Rick can pull him over too, I'd be doing the happy dance.</t>

I'm sorry that JO'Co and Corey have apparently have left us. They both were great guys to have on the boards, and I always enjoyed our ND trips as well.

I know things sometimes get more than a little testy around here, we all have our positions with regards to our team and our conference/region. We been down that road any number of times over schedule strength, or some such topic. So I hope this is just temporary, I don't know of a single poster who is glad that they are not posting, and I don't know of a single poster who doesn't hope that in the (near) future that they both return and start posting again.

So JO'Co, Corey, take your time and recharge your batteries and hopefully you'll rejoin the group and we'll all be glad that you returned.

    Terry

ps...Gaeterz has also disappeared, most likely for similar reasons as JO'Co and Corey...hope he comes back as well.

Well he hasn't emailed me or notified any of the moderators of his reasons, but before he stopped posting he was involved in several long heated discussions with regards to Tebow, the Heisman, the Gators in general as well other topics. I assume that he got tired of the discourse and decided to leave.

    Terry. excellent post.

I hope everyone returns soon. Your memory is better than mine, but is seems that the major dusts up around here occur over polictics or during bowl season when strength of conferences are compared.

There have been at least three times when I have taken a Skybox vacation, deleting the forum from my bookmarks, and vowing never to return. Then, I cool down and recall that this place has provided me far many more good days than bad and dismantle the Lloyd Carr explosive doll that was about to be mailed to a Houston address.

    Bobda,

Thanks for your honesty about your "vacations". Also, thanks for not sending an incendiary device to one of our moderators.

We all are pretty darned passionate about our teams and conferences and especially about our regions. In addition, those of us who are Irish can tend to be more argumentative and stubborn than those who are not. I know. I've been there.

Like you, Bobda, I have derived many more good experiences from this place than bad, and I have made friendships that I hope will stand the test of time.

    I hope they come back.

Ditto all.....the O'Co boys are two of my favorites and, imho, the place would suffer without them.

I feel like a certain vice presidential candidate that stood in front of a microphone and stated: "Who am I... and why am I here?"

Somebody tell me why they left. Does anyone have a clue? Cindy sent a e-mail to Diane but we are hearing nothing from any direction.
