We are back and I'm trying to catch up. Things went well and my leg is better every day. It's still great to be a Florida Gator!!!
Welcome back Bill. This is my first time on the boards since Friday. The move into the new house is as complete as it is going to get for a few weeks. We still have a 16 ft storage pod to unload but we will not call for its delivery until I get back from China. I leave Saturday morning. I have never been to Shanghai so I have no idea what my connectivity will be like.
I would think connectivity in Shanghai would be good, but you can bet that they will also try mightily to hack your computer while you are in China. It's become epidemic according to what I have read. They will sneak into your hotel room and download the contents of your HD if you leave it there while you are out. Industrial spying.
Geez, be careful Tom. I'm still having trouble finding everything we took with us then brought back to the house. Seems things always disappear on one of my trips. It's not industrial spying thought, it might be old age though!
I'm going to China to teach classes to AMC (Applied Materials China) employees. We sell the Chinese customers our equipment and maintain it. What we do not sell is the know how to build the high tech chips we build in the United States. I equate this to an artist selling me some modeling clay. I may have the same material that the artist has but the end result of the project will be worlds apart. His will be some beautiful statue while mine will be just another ash tray.
Glad to see the leg held up well Bill. I am playing golf at Oakland Hills next week and they don't call it "Hills" for nothing. My leg will be tested but instead of the usual caddy I will have to take a cart I think to minimize the up and down and sidehill walking.
Gator Bill, A bit late with this question, but glad to hear you are showing improvement each day. Are you still in some type of rehab? Football season is getting closer each day. don
