Here are the teenagers from 1958. I think I can recognize Terry and Sid... <object><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UrGLNtZ0rEg?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UrGLNtZ0rEg?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
Then the lads went off to college. Those were the days of innocence and rock & roll. The innocence eventually faded, but rock & roll lived on.

20 years later, I was being raised on this music from LPs my mom would play in the house. I was tasked with bringing music to a class party one year and I brought some of this stuff. I couldn't understand why everyone was so disappointed! I was obviously born into the wrong music generation. Not that I don't groove down to some of the new stuff, and have a very eclectic taste in modern music including rap, acid, country, pop...but there's still a soft spot for the classic greats.
