We spent about 10 days in Michigan. Both winter storms affected our trip. The first one delayed us leaving here by two days which we added to the backend of the trip, and dang if we then got caught by winter storm Bruce. We left Michigan on Monday and had to clean a couple of inches of snow off our car to leave and then we drove to Lexington the first day in snow almost all the way. The next day we had snow for about half the day before it mostly cleared up when we were in Tennessee. Finally got home that night and it's been raining since. Well enough about travels. I saw what may have been the most entertaining game I have ever seen when Oklahoma beat West Virginia 59-56 in regulation. Now watching Texas and Oklahoma which promises to be as entertaining. Hope all had a Happy Thanksgiving
Hey a bunt in the Big 12, that's rare isn't it? I thought they just marched up and down the field and scored.
Bill welcome back to the board... I was curious if you felt as I do that drawing Michigan as a bowl opponent in the New Year's Six would not be a very good scenario for this Florida team with all of it's flaws and a past propensity for losing to Michigan. I think UF is 0-4 vs. UM with the last two being blowouts. It would be quite an accomplishment for this team to get in to the top tier bowls but playing Michigan just isn't what we want.
Dave, I was hoping for an unbeaten UCF but that's out. Other than that it doesn't make much difference to me who we play, this year has been a major success win or lose. What could happen if Georgia wins is that both Georgia and Alabama go to the playoff and we could go to the Sugar against probably Oklahoma.
I have to take the comment about UCF back, they trailed badly but have rallied in the second half to take the lead 42-41.
I get the impression that you just don't appreciate that beautiful December Michigan weather. Neither do I that's why I'm in Florida.
I think UF will be a 7 to 10 point underdog to any team they may be matched with in the bowl game to come except UCF.... who still would be a 3 to 4 point favorite over Florida.
