8) I still haven't seen a convincing #1 team or a real Heisman candidate and its getting late in the season. Using teams and players out here as an example: John David Booty of USC was the great Heisman hopeful of the West, but he's been beaten out for his starting quarterback position by Mark Sanchez... BTW- Sanchez's father is the fire chief in Orange County, so he won't get to see his son play... USC was the "Greatest Team of All-Time" according to Jim Harbaugh...who beat them at the Coliseum... BTW- Harbaugh was at our Damien HS game last week to speak with Jon Rabe and our kicker... The Trojans are underdogs against the Ducks tomorrow at Eugene and Oregon might have been the real best team in the country...before they lost four starters to injuries for the season... Arizona State's criminal empire is thriving under Dennis Erickson. The Sun Devils are undefeated, ranked in the Top 5 and hold their fate in their own hands. They play Cal tomorrow and finish the season with Oregon, UCLA, USC and cross-state buddies Arizona. If they can do that... Things are looking good out here, but no one team or player stands out. The last month will be a duesy...
