Via HuffPo: North Korea has produced another video showing the United States under attack, this time with the White House and the US Capitol literally in the crosshairs. The four-minute video titled “Firestorms will rain on the Headquarters of War” was posted Monday on the YouTube channel of the North’s official website, Uriminzokkiri, which distributes news and propaganda from the state media. The first two minutes used still photos of US fighter jets, B-52 bombers and aircraft carriers to portray the United States as a bullying nuclear power intent on bending Pyongyang to its will. “Second by second, the fuse of a nuclear war is burning,” a female narrator warned. It then showed a sniper’s crosshairs superimposed over the White House, before switching to animated footage of the dome of the US Capitol building exploding in a fireball.

I assume that there are generals in N Kor. that have half a brain and know that they are rubbing a dead dick. There's a interesting read called Escape from Camp 14 that talks about a prisoner who was born in a NK prison came and managed to get out and escape. He finally gets to China which is for him the land of unlimited freedom. At this point I can't see what China sees in Jurasic Park 2, NK. They'd probably be better off with a Korea unified under the south. It would be a much better local market for them.
Honestly? I think it is leverage. That's probably an archaic view of the region but I think it's one they still hold in the peninsula. A liberated Korean peninsula is a win/win for everyone. When the Marines were cut off behind enemy lines and the Army had written the 1st Marine Division off as being lost because they were surrounded by 22 enemy divisions, the Marines made it out inflicting the highest casualty ratio on an enemy in history and destroying 7 entire enemy divisions in the process. An enemy division is 16500+ men while a Marine division is 12500 men.
