Irish's Weis causes 'circus' during visit to Elkhorn star

If Nebraska didn't already know it would have a recruiting fight for Trevor Robinson, official notice has been served. Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis caused quite a stir on Tuesday in the halls of Elkhorn High School during a stop to check on Robinson, who was offered a scholarship by the Irish last September on the first day juniors were eligible to receive them.

    Husker...

<t>I knew when I saw that information on another Irish boeard you would be posting here. While tough to get the kid out of Nebraska for ND be careful as they pulled Romine (07 commit) out of Oklahoma which was huge for Charlie. This will be fun to watch. <br/>

By the way you have to be happy with the class BC has committed at this time. Now for the last four plays he called versus Auburn....................................................................</t>

    Terry...

<t>While I would like to have him and you always have to add a few O-Lineman a year that is the one position CW has really been fortunate on his first two classes. Now if we can get lucky and land Peters this year and hit some home runs next year on D-Linemen things will firm up on the roster.</t>

Some of our OL's will be moving to DT, so next year he'll need 3 or 4 more guys. He can't pull a Davieham and have years with nada, nuttin, along the OL.

Hey. They grow corn in Indiana too. Kid can play for the Irish and still be a cornhusker. Best of both worlds.
