I think Houston Larry is Colorado Larry these days. He said something about being tired of the Houston heat and having a place in Colorado. Also, given my love for beer and sausage along with Cheese doodles...I am considering offers from the Brewers they look like the horse to back this year!

Well the Astro's are out of last place if only by .001. The sweep of the Rangers put them into 4th place in the AL West. Rangers now have worst record in baseball with Az and Houston just that .001 better. Still time for late season swoon and the #1 draft choice again next year! BTW Astros still haven't signed their #1 draft choice, he's come up with some sort of arm issue that they want him to take a cut in his money. He is a UCLA verbal and he could go ahead and go to college if he wants. There are rules that cover this now, the Astros would be compensated in next years draft with another high draft pick if he doesn't sign. This is all very odd as one of the reasons the Astros liked him was his health, he was used very wisely by his HS coach.
