If trading Wiggins for Kevin Love wasn't such a good idea.I wasn't sure that I liked it at the time but I thought I understood the logic.
At the time it seemed like a steal. Love was an young, established star, not a rising star or a potential star but he had established himself as one of the best players in the NBA. Wiggins was of course highly thought of and all that but you don't know till they roll the ball out there and he has to play with the big boys. My nephew says that the Love for Wiggins deal may be a bigger theft of talent than the theft of James Harden from the Thunder by the Rockets. I have to say I really like Lebron, he's an incredible talent but the whole building of the Super Team like he did in Miami sort of rubs me wrong. So I hope Lebron has an excellent 2nd half of the season and stays healthy but I won't be sorry if the Cavs don't turn into the new "Beast" of the East.
Well, it kind of rubbed me wrong, also, especially if they did any kind of illegal collusion. But after all, what do ALL teams do? Try to put out the best group of players that they can find? It it so wrong if the players to participate in the process? It's the pros (and college)...it's no longer choosing up sides fairly in the high school gym class.
Well true they are Pro's and Clubs have traditionally controlled the flow of players, even with free agency. I guess I might be a little hypocritical saying I'm against it when I really wanted to get either Dwight Howard or Chris Bosch to go with James Harden here in Houston.
