    Go Navy!

Army has really experienced a renewal of their program under their new coach, Jeff Monken , who really isn't new has been at USMA since 2014 season. It took him a couple of years to get things going but he was 8-5 in 2016, 10-3 last year and 9-2 this year. He finally stopped the Army losing streak vs Navy and has won 2 bowl games and going to a 3rd bowl this year. His defense was the only one to hold Oklahoma to under 30 points in a OT loss at Norman. He's a Paul Johnson disciple.

Navy having a really bad year, they are 3-9

Game is in Philly today and as has become the tradition both teams will have special uniforms honoring their service. The Navy will honor their Mascot Bill the Goat while the Army will honor the Big Red One, the 1st Infantry Divison.

Defensive battle, Army scored quickly on their first possession and that's the end of the scoring in the 1st half. Like the Navy uniforms the best.

Wow Navy finally gets in the red zone and after a very good run to inside the 10yd/line Navy QB fumbles and Army recovers. Still 10-0

Navy forced the Army to punt from their own end zone and Navy got the ball back at Midfield and 1 play a terrific run by the Navy back when it looked for sure like the QB was going to be sacked got them back inside the 10 and they scored 3 plays later 10-7. We have a heck of a ballgame going now!

Zach Abey, Navy QB, have to feel bad for him. His passing was awful today and threw several picks and then after they pulled him for #7 who also had a critical fumble but also lead them on a scoring drive to make it close, but he's forced out of the game for one play and Abey comes in on a 4th down and gets stripped trying to pass it. Not a good game for that young man. Army now inside the 2 and looking to seal the victory. Which they just did ...Army wins 17-7 3 straight now for the Cadets.

Army finished the regular season with 10 wins again. Their last loss was in OT to Oklahoma at Norman. Something tells me that they should be in the top 25 somewhere.

Great game but when these two have to pass they are in trouble.

They are in the top 25 and while they still have to play the game, they play Houston in the bowl game and the Cougars defense is terrible. They fired their DCoord and there is a chance Art Briles kid who is their OCoord will not be there, he's been talking to other schools about moving after 1 year (successful) year as the OCoord even though he was recently offered a raise and extension to his contract. Also Houston's QB who was so good this year is out for the bowl due to injury and a freshman will play. All pointing to a good chance that Army wins and finishes 11-2 and a top 25 in the final poll.
