I never get tired of reliving the exciting 2012 season. The sad ending does not diminish the thrill and the many highlights of the 12-0 regular season.
Always No 1 in this household.. Bring on the Future...... GO IRISH !!!!!!!! have to find all my ND stuff. to put out.. may have to order some more things....
I am always ready for Ohio State college football! Even now with all the related media about firing the marching band director. (grin) Looking forward to a healthy Braxton Miller ready to go for his senior year. Also hoping we will be in the hunt for a playoff position. GO BUCKS!
Hell yes! As Don mentioned... We have a PLAYOFF!!!!! I'm curious to see what the Aggies throw out there. They will be very young in some areas but the talent is very good. Tee it up!
I thought Braxton Miller would be in NYC for the Hesiman last year, but then he got injured. Certainly he could be there this year, if he stays healthy. But fortunately for you Buckeye fans that kid who came in and backed him up did a helluva job, I assume he's back this year ready to go if Miller goes down.
Terry, Kenny Guiton graduated and we do not have an experienced QB, to back up Miller this year. Just keeping my fingers and toes crossed that he stays healthy. Coach Meyer says he looks good and is completed healed from that shoulder surgery.
I'm waiting for the excitement to kick in. All of this talk about paying players and how much money the TV network will bring in, kind of takes the luster off. I'm sure a trip to Tuscaloosa will cure that but right now, I'm kind of waiting for the next drug bust, agent payer, mugging, laptop stealing news story.
Hey kp, Bo has some innuendo for you about Hugh Freeze...but you have to read between the lines! Pellini Calls out Ole Miss
KP, I feel ya buddy. It's July in Alabama. August is just a few days away and the grind starts to build into a fever. It's coming sooner than we all think. The off-season books, promotions and scandals will give way to shells and shorts before giving way to live contact and the opening whistle.
Terry, It aint over til February. I really don't follow recruiting til the regular season is over. I wonder if Pelini feels the same way when a recruit changes his mind and switches to Nebraska? Nah! That's different!
Corey, I hope you're right. I have looked forward to college football starting since I was a kid (Joe Namath era I guess). I don't know what it is this year. I'll be going to a couple of games in the middle of the season and the quad is always alot of fun.
Throw that downer in with trying to deal with the first year in the past 24 that I go in to the season without season tickets. Kinda blah..... even though I will still be going to the usual game or two. It was nice knowing exactly where I was going to sit etc.
