JDSU Make fiber optics and all for satellites and other various computer hardware. Been watching it and now up from 2.80 to 3.60 was 3.80. Tech stocks are tough with people putting in and pulling out quickly, but this will make you some money.

    ELN,

It will run again tommorow . The stock was voluntarily halted pending FDA news for 2 days. Up $ 3 in just a few minutes it traded today. It will run again tommorow. With a stable market, it should run to $ 30.

    This was once a $ 60-$65 stock.

I finally sold GLW and will buy back if it gets back to the low 24's.

JDSU is junk. I once made money in it during the tech boom. I think I bought it for around 75 and it kept climbing and splitting long after that. Since the tech bust, it has had a huge reverse stock spilt, so that it doesn't sell for a nickle, but its still a penny stock with too many shares outstanding and a long history of standing still...

My most successful investment of the last two years is one that I'm holding right now. Its a homeland security play called RSA Security (RSAS). Check that one out...

I've said all along I will hold this for riches or for bust. Bust still isn't out of the question.</t>

I recall you mentioning that stock a couple of yrs. ago. It was under $2 if I recall. Something to do with gas or oil off of Africa if I recall. Holding up so far?

Yeah I think I bought it around 1.70, It's doing quite well. Who knows what will happen with it? If they ever drill a well, it could make for good times. Even if they sell the rights to a small part of the concession for around 250 million it would get interesting. I noticed it had quite a run today. If it's a scam, it sure has held up well.

I'll call you and raise you one TB.....

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=HAL&t=1y&l=on&z=m&q=b&c=slb

SLB has clearly outperformed HAL, has twice the market cap, all valuation measures (e.g., P/E, price/sales, price/book, price/cash flow, etc) are vastly superior to HAL in some cases over twofold, enjoys profit margins in excess of 40% above those of HAL, competes directly with HAL in markets all over the globe......oh, and one other thing - SLB is a French firm. Touche'!

No doubt Bush and Chirac - fast friends that they are - have been conspiring for years to monopolize this industry and line the pockets of their Parisian buddies......

Tailback, they are lying to you son and sending you off looking for ghosts. The truth shall set you free....
