Been seeing ESPN fantasy football commercials featuring my man Earnest Graham....ex-Florida Rb who is now with the Bucs and who helped me to the regular season championship of my FF league. My point is that he is the Rb that was knocked out of the season ending game with Tenn by the illegal knee twist of Darnell Dockett of FSU infamy. Graham was and is a good one who was sorely missed in the 2 point loss in the 2001 Tenn game costing UF a shot at the national title imho. I have often said that was one of Spurrier's best teams at Florida and now this in a BCS best games rundown by CBSSportsline: 37. Florida 56, Maryland 23 -- 2002 Orange Bowl ... "I was in the NFL for five years," Maryland's Ralph Friedgen said, "and the only team that was better was the Oakland Raiders." http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/10918829
Speaking of FF and Earnest Graham. I'm picking in the 12th-13th spot of my upcoming draft. This is a highly competitive league with some cash at stake. It's a PPR league and I have considered taking Graham if he's available. Do you think he will start all season?
Depends on what running backs go before him if he is worth that high a pick. I do think he signed this year for a big contract raise so I think he figures prominently in the Buc's plans. At 12 or 13 maybe Carson Palmer could be available.
I have considered taking a QB in this spot but if a guy hauls in a lot of passes at RB in a PPR league, they are very valuable. I think Graham is that kind of RB and if he gets the majority of the snaps, he could be a huge asset on my team.
Actually, I don't read Blue and Gold Illustrated. Almost everything I read, on a daily basis, are SEC related or affiliated news sources. Aside from Mike Frank, I find few online ND sources credible.. and he's a cut above everyone I've seen on the net when it comes to recruiting reporting. My reasons for this have nothing to do with his ND affiliation btw.
